We are looking for hard working, high energy, and personable applicants to add to our 2020 team in the following positions: Tour Guide, Shop Staff, and Office Admin & Customer Service Agent.
Positions in Munich, Berlin and Paris!
No task is too large for our Guides, who take tours around the various parts of the city and its outskirts. Outside of tour times, guides work in office, helping the Shop Staff ensure that operations run smoothly.
Our staff wears many hats: guide, confidant, problem solver, conversationalist, leader, caregiver, and general rock star! Guiding tours with us is a highly sought-after position demanding lots of cultural and historical knowledge and above all, extraordinary people skills. Those are the obvious qualifications, but no less important is the ability to work very flexible hours and have a strong sense of team pride. Previous work experience in education/theatre and/or service sector work is a plus.
On top of all that, while we love sunny days, we do many tours in the howling wind and pouring rain. Whatever happens out there, we really shine when adversity comes knocking!
Shop Staff help customers get to their tours, handle bicycles, and keep the office running smoothly. Regardless of whether you are leading a tour, or caring for a group in our office, you're expected to be a powerful presenter and confident public speaker. Your delivery of information should be clear, inspire confidence, and engage our guests. You are compassionate, patient, and have an unwavering sense of humor. Your warmth and dynamic personality shines through as you relay information to our guests. In short, you love being with people and people love being with you!
Office Admin & Customer Service Staff work mainly through phone, email and chat correspondence with our partners and guests. Your written and spoken English should be fluent. Command of the local language is an asset but not required.
Although these are three distinct roles, anybody may be called on to help out in another area of the business. We, managers alike, all like to roll up our sleeves and help out wherever needed.
- Fluent English is an absolute necessity.
- Valid European working papers are required; visa, work permit, residency card, passport, etc.
- Outgoing personality and a good sense of humour are a must.
- Punctuality is essential.
We will consider candidates who have completed two years of either university or relevant work experience, and posses valid EU working papers. You must have an exceptional personality, superb speaking skills, the ability to quickly adapt to changing situations, an interest in international travel, high integrity, and a large smile.
